Jon,This is great! I think we were in the second grade - right? And wasn't the teacher Miss (Mrs.?) Russell? I thought she was ancient, but the woman in the picture is young. I think I have the photo somewhere and if I do, my mother wrote everyone's names on the back.
And, I love it that I closed my eyes in photos even then. In one of my jobs I had to have my picture taken quite often and the poor woman tried and tried to get a photo with my eyes open. She dreaded the task.
There is no "s" at the end of Winter, (everybody does that!).
